I am a freelance/mercenary/gentleman statistician developing Bayesian analysis methodologies, computational tools, and pedagogical resources to help bridge statistical theory and applied practice. My ultimate goal is to help scientists draw more precise, and more principled, insights from their data.

Originally trained in experimental physics at Caltech and MIT, I first transitioned into statistical work with postdoctoral positions at University College London and Warwick University. Since then I have collaborated on projects as diverse as wine grape phenology, pharmacology, heating and cooling optimization, epidemiology, satellite navigation, marketing, finance, particle physics, and more.
